“Young Scientists” Science, Engineering & Construction Classes

Children explore the creative side of science and technology through age-appropriate scientific concepts in a series of hands-on experiments and demonstrations that enlighten their minds. Meets weekly.

Class Offering

"Young Scientists" Science, Engineering & Construction Class: Ages 4+

Don’t just learn about rocks and minerals from a book. Crack open a geode and discover their crystalline structures while making scientific observations, hypotheses and discoveries. Make a potato produce energy, turn a tin can into a robot, create an erupting volcano, and find the fun in many more areas of science and technology.

Also, experiment with a variety of LEGO, DUPLO, building blocks, building toys and magnetic toys. Explore “cause-and-effect” relationships using blocks, bricks, pulleys, motors, ramps, and more.

Why We Like "Young Scientists" Science, Engineering and Construction

"Young Scientists" Science, Engineering and Construction Class explores the creative side of science and technology through age-appropriate scientific concepts. Students unravel the mysteries of science through the discovery of magnets, energy, chemistry and much more. Experiment with toys, tools, and kits to help children learn first-hand about the world of science that surround them.

In addition, experiment with a variety of LEGO, DUPLO, building blocks, building toys and magnetic toys. Our young engineers build and explore using math, science, physics, and other age-appropriate engineering concepts. Individual and group experiments promote critical and creative thinking by exploring “cause-and-effect” relationships using blocks, bricks, pulleys, motors, ramps, and more.
